No trip to Egypt is complete without a trip to Luxor. It’s the place to be if you want to experience Ancient Egypt. Every time someone asks me how to plan their trip, I tell them to maximize their time in Luxor at all costs.
There’s a wealth of sites to see here — perhaps more so than any other spot on the planet.
But if you don’t have any idea what to expect in Luxor, there’s a high probability your trip could be ruined. People will follow you around the streets, trying to sell you anything and everything. You’ll waste hours driving back and forth to a bridge when you can easily take a ferry.
